iBlock FAQ Q: I have over 300 domains. Do I have to pay $35 per month for each domain? A: No. iBlock charges per million emails processed. You can have an unlimited
number of domains in your account. A: Your email will queue up on our server cluster until your mail server comes
back online. No email will be lost or returned. A: We operate server clusters that will scale to hundreds of servers. Multiple
mail servers are load balanced behind a Cisco Local Director. This appears
as one server to the outside world, but is actually many servers. A: The delay depends on many factors including how busy our servers are, how
busy your mail server is, and how large the email is. Emails with large attachments
take longer to virus scan. The average delay is typically less than one second. A: Yes. You can resell the service. In fact, if you are subscribed to the
professional service you can give each of your domain customers their own iBlock
administrative account. A: iBlock uses the same spam blocking techniques as other managed services
and also uses a proprietary blocking method that accounts for its high success
rate. A: We could tell you but then we'd have to kill you! After much research,
we've discovered a revolutionary way to block spam and we're not telling anyone.
This is why we only offer iBlock as a managed service. Once spammers discover
how spam is iBlocked they'll work on a method to get around it. A: If you add the email addresses to the non-subscriber list, those users
will only have their email scanned for viruses. A: If you look at your email headers they will show that they passed through
one of our filtering servers. You can also see detailed graphs and lists of
emails that have been blocked and why they were blocked by logging into the
iBlock web interface. A: Not currently. You can log in at http://iblock.ispservices.com or we can
add an alias for your domain users to log in with. For example: If your domain
is www.myisp.com, we could set up http://iblock.myisp.com or some other name
that you choose. A: You can white-list any user or domain. For example: If one of your users
can't receive mail from an ISP who is being blocked you could add that ISPs
domain or just that ISPs users email address to your white-list. My customer
can't get mail from john@blockedisp.com. You can white-list john@blockedisp.com
or the entire ISP blockedisp.com.
